Cristian Duran is a New York City-based comedian with a unique comedic voice formed from his Brooklyn roots and Florida upbringing. His insightful, irreverent, surprising, intelligent, silly, and always fun comedy has taken him across the country, including performances at the Orlando Indie Comedy Festival. Cristian has achieved notable recognition as a member of the Elite 8 in Caroline's March Madness Competition and a semi-finalist in the New York Comedy Festival's annual New York's Funniest Competition. In 2016, he released the debut episode of his animated cartoon show, Future Hall of Famers, which has been featured in several film festivals.
In January 2020, Cristian's debut comedy album, "King Latifah," reached the number one spot on the iTunes comedy charts upon release. He continued his success as the director and co-writer of Race: The Movie: The Play, which debuted at the New York Theater Festival in 2022, with three sold-out shows. The NY Theater Festival recognized the play with a win for Best Script for Cristian Duran & Bret Raybould, as well as two Best Actor nominations for the leads Bret Raybould and Dean Edwards.
